We have had a fantastic response from all Scottish Care Members and we would like to thank you for your support by using IDP approved suppliers. Many hundreds of care homes are now enjoying significant savings made possible by your collective strength.
We have now completed the tender process for all key expenditure items and the feedback that we have received is highlighting savings of between 10 - 30 percent.
We will shortly be sending out to you a new updated list of approved suppliers and would ask each nursing home to carefully consider using these suppliers as they have proven to be offering exceptional value backed up by the highest level of service and product quality.
We have been requested by a number of members to appoint an approved supplier to undertake fire risk assessments. This has now been completed and information is available from your local customer care manager.
